My name is Brittney Anne Bahlman and I am thrilled to be the 2008 Panhellenic President here at Northwestern. At NU, we are host to 12 National Panhellenic Conference organizations comprising nearly 40% of the female undergraduate student body. As a Greek community, we are constantly breaking the stereotypes of Greek life by focusing on the values on which our organizations were founded. Northwestern’s Panhellenic women embody the values of scholarship, leadership, service, and sisterhood in everything they do.
More than anything, deciding to join a sorority gives you a home away from home on the Northwestern campus. Regardless of which one of our incredible 12 organizations you choose to join, the memories and bonds you form will last well beyond graduation day. In choosing to join the Panhellenic community, you are joining a group of women with whom you will be able to able to share laughter, dreams, and the rest of your life. Joining the Panhellenic community is more than a lifelong commitment – it is a lifelong gift. Making the decision to join my organization was the greatest decision I ever made and I hope to share my experience with each and every one of you as you explore the Greek community at Northwestern.
